Holy. Fucking. Shit.
Out of every show I have ever been to COMBINED
This was the single best show of my life. All three bands were top notch, the place was filled to the brim, the mix was great, and there was so much fucking energy. Seriously, if this tour is coming ANYWHERE near you, please god do yourself a favor and go. You will NOT be dissapointed. I was lucky enough to get dead center rail
Place was the fullest I've ever seen it.

Just a sliver of everyone there; not counting the blindspot of about 10 people behind me and everone to the left and right of me; all behind us
Note: This was an offdate, so I didnt have Dream Theater, and everyone else got a longer set
Three: ALMOST showed up Opeth. They were tied neck and neck in my book. Definitely top 3 on my favorite live bands. They sounded amazing, had an awesome setlist, and above all, they are one of the most talented bands I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Seriously. Joey Eppard is godlike in his guitar-playing ability. I've never seen someone finger-pick as expertly as him, and he is fucking flawless live. Seriously, go listen to "The World is Born of Flame", "The End is Begun", and whatever the fuck else. The majority of the intricate guitar is him, and he hits every fucking note live. Another surprising point for me was that their keyboardist/percussionist is fucking awesome. Seriously, I didnt think he added much to the band until I saw him live. Fucking nuts. Crowning moment of the set: The very last song, Joey was going insane on his guitar (really really getting into it; one of the most passionate performances I've ever seen) and one of the strings snapped. He kept playing. Then another, and another, and eventually they were all gone. It was amazing.
Setlist (from what I can remember; in this order):
1. The World is Born of Flame
2. The End is Begun
3. Battle Cry
4. All That Remains
5. My Divided Falling
About 3 more songs from earlier albums that I couldnt place

A+++
Between the Buried and Me:
Awesome band again. TONS of energy and they really worked the crowd. Again, amazing musicians and they were flawless. My only complaint was that the vocals didnt translate too well from album to live.. but other then that, everything was perfect. I just wish they would've played first, because I prefer 3, but they played for at least 45 minutes
Setlist (Just what I can remember):
-Ants of the Sky
-Alaska
-Viridian
-White Walls
A ton of other ones

OPETH:
Oh my fucking god. Can you say spiritual experience? Best band of the night, definitely. Played for about 2 hours with an awesome setlist. Sounded amazing as all hell, Mikael interacted with the crowd a ton; he said something to the effect of "You see, we're supposed to be on tour with Dream Theater right now, but you see, they're getting a bit... old. But 3, Between the Buried and Me, and of course OPETH are still young, energetic, and not on dialysis yet. You're going to have to excuse me though, because I'm not used to having so much time to play. With them you come out, play, leave before you give the DT fans a heart attack." At this point he was asking the audience for songs and he'd start playing em for a minute, stop, and go "Awe fuck. Pick an easier one.". Great shit, except for the asshole to my left that kept screaming "HEIIIRRR APPPARRENNNTTTTT!", so Legolas started a good metronome for SHUT THE FUCK UP until the kid got shamed into a corner

Anyway besides that they sounded fucking AMAZING as usual, and I'd have to say their new guitarist is better then the last. Only complaint was that the keyboardist actually stayed seated the entire show

Regardless, best money I've ever fucking spent
Setlist (As accurate as I can remember, not in any order):
-The Drapery Falls (Encore song; after solos)
-In My Time of Need
-To Rid the Disease
-Master's Apprentices
-The Baying of the Hounds
-Hours of Wealth
-Demon of the Fall
-Serenity Painted Death
-Heir Apparent
-Wreath

Overall: Probably the best tour of recent times IMO. I have 0 complaints about any of the bands, and would've been pleased just to see ONE of them because of how good each of them where. Seriously, I can't stress this enough, if this tour comes near you, make every effort to fucking go. You will NOT be dissapointed.
